A new experience created for you by Morgan’s Wonderland theme park and Morgan’s Inspiration Island splash park, both designed with special-needs individuals in mind and both built for everyone’s enjoyment in the spirit of inclusion.
Morgan’s Wonderland Camp will be an ultra-accessible™ camp for all ages and abilities, with a special emphasis on giving people with physical and cognitive challenges an opportunity to enjoy summer-camp-type activities alongside guests without special needs. Morgan’s Wonderland Camp will include swimming, floating on a relaxing river, hiking, archery, horseback riding, zip-lining and much more.
Located on the northern outskirts of San Antonio, near the intersection of Bulverde and Evans roads, non-profit Morgan’s Wonderland Camp is only a 20-minute drive from Morgan’s Wonderland. Facilities, which are anticipated to be completed in 2021, will be able to accommodate up to 525 campers and staff for day, weekend or week-long camp sessions.
Who will be able to participate at Morgan’s Wonderland Camp? Everyone! Ultra-accessibility™ is at the core of who we are and what we do. We’re proud to offer accommodations to meet the diverse needs of everyone who enters through our Welcome Center doors. Like Morgan’s Wonderland, Morgan’s Wonderland Camp will be a barrier-free, affordable adventure with opportunity for all. Whether you’re visiting as part of a Scouts troop, participating in Community-Based Instruction, or embarking on a week of accessible family fun, there is something for everyone to enjoy. It’s our promise to continue bringing together people of all abilities to gain a better understanding of one another through the power of inclusive play.
